On behalf of the good people of Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency, I heartily felicitate with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, the President of the Senate and Chairman of National Assembly, Dist. Sen. Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Executive Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom and most importantly, my fellow Nigerians at home and in diaspora as we mark this year’s democracy day celebration.
Indeed, we have come a long way and made remarkable progress in our democratic journey over the years with every arm of Government as well as institutions waxing stronger.
Citizens have become more aware and interested in the business of governance; suing for accountability and transparency in electoral processes and the management of public resources.
At this point of our national evolvement, there’s no gain saying that our democratic and electoral institutions remains the focal point for the African continent and we must strengthen them further to compete favourably amongst our contemporaries across the globe.
To the good people of Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency, I appreciate your undeviating support and prayers not just for me but for all political leaders in the constituency.
On this year’s democracy day celebration, I urge us all to embrace peace and unity within the constituency, irrespective of our political ideologies and representations while we strive for the collective upliftment of our dear constituency.
Once again, Happy Democracy Day.
Long Live, Federal Republic of Nigeria
Long Live, Benue State
Long Live, Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency
Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday
Member Representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency
