Augustine Miles Kelechi popularly known as Tekno is a Nigerian singer and song writer. He was born on December 17, 1992 in Bauchi, Bauchi state, Nigeria. He is a native of Ivo in Ebonyi state, Nigeria. His parents discovered his talent early and enrolled him into the school of music at the age of 8, where he started learning and mastering the rudiments of playing piano and guitar.

When he started his music career, the first song he released was “Holiday” that gained massive airplay. In 2013, he signed a recording label with MMMG and released two hit singles “Dance” and “Anything” . Since then he has been releasing so many albums and hit singles.

In 2014, he was nominated as the Best New Act of the year at the 2014 Nigerian entertainment awards. In 2015, he won the Best Pop Extra Video at the 9th Nigerian Music Video Awards. In 2017, he won the Best International Act African at the BET Awards. He is one of the most famous musicians in Nigeria today. Tekno has a multi million naira mansion at Lekki, Lagos State.
